I'm a proud and happy wife and mother to one beautiful baby girl, but I also like to brag about being a Voter, an Educator, a Volunteer, a Writer, a Crafter, a Home Cook, and a Lover of the Arts (among other things).
I am taking a long absence from the work force to stay home full-time to raise my daughter. I can't say it was always a dream of mine to be a stay-at-home mom, but so far I am loving the fact that I have been blessed with means to do so. I never imagined that something so incredible could be missing from my life, but apparently it was. I love being home and pretending I'm June Cleaver as I wash the dishes with bubbles to my elbows, and my daughter laughing at me from her walker behind me.
Life is great (albeit, a lot of hard work).
I'm looking forward to sharing my thoughts, my crafts, my cooking, and my concerns with (hopefully) someone who wants to read (and respond) to them.
